We have a spy photo double feature as photographers managed to snap two different versions of the redesigned Mercedes GLC Coupe.
The black prototype is the GLC 63 Coupe, and it’s distinguished by a Panamericana grille and lightweight wheels that are backed up by a high-performance braking system with bronze calipers. We can also see a large rear spoiler and a squared off four-tailpipe exhaust system, which indicates this is the range-topping variant.
The regular model is far less aggressive as it adopts a single bar grille with a tri-star mesh insert. The crossover has also been equipped with side steps, aerodynamically optimized wheels, and a modest spoiler.

Spy photographers snagged an interior picture of the mainstream variant and the cabin unsurprisingly carries over from the more practical GLC. As a result, it has a freestanding 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and an 11.9-inch infotainment system with a portrait orientation. They’re joined by circular air vents, wood trim, and a plethora of metallic accents.
Engine options will be shared with the standard GLC, which offers turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinders with outputs of 201 hp (150 kW / 204 PS) and 254 hp (190 kW / 258 PS). The crossover also offers a 194 hp (145 kW / 197 PS) diesel as well as plug-in hybrids developing 309 hp (230 kW / 313 PS), 330 hp (245 kW / 335 PS), and 376 hp (280 kW / 381 PS).
The GLC 63, on the other hand, is slated to feature the same plug-in hybrid powertrain as the C63 E Performance. This means we can expect a 470 hp (350 kW / 476 PS) turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine and a 201 hp (150 kW / 204 PS) electric motor. This setup is slated to give the car a combined output of 671 hp (500 kW / 680 PS) and 553 lb-ft (750 Nm) of torque.
